Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for services purchased from Laghbani Consulting, based in Switzerland. We aim to ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to Swiss consumer protection regulations.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

1.1 14-day withdrawal period

• Clients may cancel their service purchase within 14 days of the transaction date, provided no service has been delivered beyond an initial review of the client's documents.
• To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a written cancellation request to info@laghbani-consulting.com before the withdrawal period expires.
• Refunds are processed within 14 business days after the withdrawal request is confirmed.

1.2 Exceptions to the withdrawal right

The right to withdraw, and any refund, does not apply where:

• the client (or, for a minor, their parent or legal guardian) has signed the Power of Attorney and Laghbani Consulting has already provided a service on the client's behalf, for example preparing or submitting a university application;
• the service is customised or tailored to the client's specific requirements; or
• the client fails to provide documents or information necessary to complete the service.

2. Refund Eligibility

Once we begin working on your file, the only situation that leads to a refund is a rejected visa that we filed for you. Every other situation is non-refundable:

The Pre-Arrival and Studienkolleg packages do not include visa filing (you submit the visa yourself), so they are non-refundable once work begins. The visa-rejection refund applies only to the Premium and Visa to Residency packages.

Any refund outside these cases is at the sole discretion of Laghbani Consulting.

3. Fees, Credits and Surcharges

Consultation fee (€79)

The €79 consultation fee is credited in full toward your package price if you go on to purchase a package. On its own it is non-refundable, because the session has already been delivered.

Partner Perks deposit (€300)

The €300 Partner Perks deposit is fully refunded once you enrol at a partner university. Alternatively, you may apply it as a €300 discount toward the Visa to Residency package. If you neither enrol nor continue with us, the deposit is not refunded, because the work has already been done.

Medical university surcharge (€250)

Applications to medical universities carry a €250 surcharge for the additional work involved. This surcharge does not apply to medical Studienkolleg (foundation year) applications. It is disclosed before you pay and is non-refundable once the medical application work has begun.

4. Refunds on Discounted Bookings

If your booking used a coupon code, sibling discount, referral reward or any other promotion, the refund is calculated on the actual price you paid (after the discount), not on the standard package price. A promotion applied to a refunded booking is considered consumed and is not restored or re-issued. See our Terms & Conditions for the full promotions framework.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Send a written request to info@laghbani-consulting.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
2. Include the order details, payment receipt and the reason for the request.
3. Allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed after confirmation.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the policies of our payment processor and your bank or card issuer.

6. Dispute Resolution

If a refund request is denied and you disagree with the decision, you may:

• request a review of the case by contacting info@laghbani-consulting.com; or
• refer to Swiss dispute resolution services, such as the Ombudsman of Financial Services, if applicable.

7. Amendments to This Policy

Laghbani Consulting reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
