UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE
There are two types of university admissions in Germany 1- (Direkte Zulassungsbescheid) Direct invitation * This means that the student has fulfilled all the prerequisites for university registration. 2- (Bedingte Zulassungsbescheid) Conditional invitation * This means that the student has entered the university, but under certain conditions. For example, a student has to reach a certain level of German or take the Studienkolleg exam before being accepted into the university. In this case, the applicant must bring registration for a German language course or registration for a preparatory annual exam, if required. PROOF THAT THE STUDENT CAN FINANCE HIMSELF OR HERSELF DURING THE COURSE OF STUDY
Confirmation of scholarship (Stipendienzusage, Stipendienurkunde) in original and 2 copies. The amount of the scholarship must be at least €853 per month; if the amount of the scholarship is lower, the difference must be confirmed according to the following alternative sources:
The current application (issued no earlier than 6 months before the date of application for a visa) for obligations under §§ 66-68 of the Residence Act (Verpflichtungserklärung) in original and 2 copies. This document must contain the purpose of the stay and information on the solvency of the inviting person. or Confirmation of opening a blocked account with a German bank with a monthly withdrawal limit of 931 EUR for the entire period of planned stay The exact amount may increase depending on what the embassy determines, so please obtain accurate information from the website of the German embassy located at your place of residence. |
